V E Day Aniversary Event.

Whitchurch & Ganarew Area History Society are presenting a special WW2 Exhibition event to mark the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. There will be Tea & Cakes, Lindy Hop Dancers and Memorabilia Galore. Do pop in to Whitchurch Memorial Hall HR9 6DJ anytime between 11am and 4pm on Sunday 11th May. Entry is FREE.

A VE Day 80th Anniversary special – join us for an illustrated talk about the Women’s Land Army featuring stories about several local Land Girls (and a Lumber Jill too). Entry is just £5.
